Our recent visit to Molo Children’s Home was a beautiful reminder of this truth. From the moment we stepped through their gates, we were welcomed with laughter, open hearts and a spirit of joy that filled the entire space. Fun & Games

The atmosphere at Molo quickly turned into a festival of joy as the children burst into song, their bright voices filling the air with life. One moment they were dancing with incredible energy, and the next, they were pulling our team into their circles, eager to share every step and every beat. Soon, we found ourselves running around the compound, playing simple games that sparked pure laughter from everyone involved. In those moments, titles and roles disappeared. It was just people, hearts open, enjoying the kind of happiness that comes from being fully present. The children reminded us that joy is something created together, and their excitement was a gift we carried with us long after the music stopped.

Meals & Sharing

As the laughter settled and the games slowed down, the delicious aroma of food filled the air, drawing everyone toward the kitchen area. Our team and the caregivers worked side by side, preparing a comforting meal with genuine care — chopping, stirring, tasting and adjusting, each step done with love. The children watched eagerly, excited for what was coming. Soon, plates of steaming rice, chapati and stew were served, along with refreshing drinks that brought instant smiles to their faces. Sitting together in one big family circle, sharing food and stories, created a moment that felt both peaceful and powerful. It wasn’t just a meal; it was a reminder that togetherness nourishes the soul just as much as food nourishes the body.

After the meals were shared and the laughter softened, everyone gathered for a moment of reflection. Our team, alongside the caregivers, offered heartfelt words of encouragement to the children — reminding them that they are seen, valued and capable of achieving anything they dream of. The room grew quiet as they listened, their eyes full of curiosity and hope. We spoke about believing in themselves, embracing education and holding on to courage even when life becomes challenging. In return, the children’s smiles told us everything; they weren’t just hearing words, they were receiving strength. It was a powerful reminder that sometimes the simplest message — you matter, and your future is bright — can plant seeds that grow for a lifetime.

Gifts of Love & Hope

One of the most touching moments of the visit unfolded during the distribution of the personal care packages. Each bag was lovingly prepared and labeled with the child’s name, a small gesture that carried a powerful message: you are seen, you are valued, you matter. As the children prepared to return home for the Christmas holiday, in line with the government directive, we wanted every gift to feel personal and meaningful. Inside the packages were essentials to support their daily needs, along with items meant to inspire joy and creativity, drawing books, crayons, Crocs for every child, clothing, shoes, and more. Watching the children open their bags was unforgettable. Some held their gifts close to their chest, while others immediately slipped on their new shoes and ran off to show their friends. Their laughter and pride filled the room. This moment was made even more impactful through the wider community mobilization we initiated as a foundation. It was a powerful reminder that when people come together with compassion, lives truly change. The joy on the children’s faces reflected more than excitement, it reflected hope. Simple gifts, offered with love and dignity, can restore confidence, spark creativity, and remind a child that they are deeply cared for.

The spirit of giving continued as we presented the group gifts — items meant to support the entire children’s home and enrich their daily lives. Bundles of clothes were shared out, ensuring every child received something warm, clean and comfortable to wear. New mattresses were also delivered, a gift that promises restful nights and the comfort every child deserves. To nurture their education, we brought books and plenty of stationery, giving them tools to read, write, learn and express their creativity. Watching the excitement spread across the room as the children explored their new items was unforgettable. These gifts were more than just supplies; they were symbols of care, dignity and encouragement, reminding the children that their dreams and wellbeing truly matter.
